Concern About a Denturist? Here’s How to Proceed:

If you have a concern about the care or service you received from a denturist in Saskatchewan, we encourage you to follow these steps:

1. Speak with Your Denturist First

Before contacting the Denturist Society of Saskatchewan, we recommend discussing your concern directly with your denturist. Many issues can be resolved quickly through open and respectful communication. Denturists are professionals who often welcome the opportunity to address and resolve concerns directly.

NOTE: If you have been advised to contact the Society to obtain a refund from a denturist, this is only possible where a complaint is investigated and a prima facie case of professional incompetence or professional misconduct is established or the denturist has been found guilty of professional incompetence or professional misconduct by the discipline committee.

2. Still Have Concerns?

If you have not been able to resolve your concern directly with your denturist, you may submit a formal written complaint. The online Complaint Form can be found here. or you can make a separate submission by printing and completing the Complaint Form (PDF file). The Regulatory Executive Secretary will follow up with a call to confirm receipt and discuss next steps.

If the matter falls within the Society’s jurisdiction, it will be investigated in accordance with sections 29 and 30 of the Dental Disciplines Act.

We may contact you for additional information.
